The Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Technology Application Forum 2025 is about to take place - a platform connecting domestic and international e-commerce businesses

Against the backdrop of the continued global e-commerce boom, playing a key role in the national digital transformation process, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade, will host the “Vietnam E-commerce & Digital Technology Application Forum 2025” on September 5, 2025.

The event is part of the Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 Exhibition, which is expected to gather nearly 600 booths from domestic and international companies, along with the participation of many international business delegations from the United States, China, France, Singapore, Malaysia, and other key markets.

This year's forum continues to affirm its role as a "strategic meeting point" for Vietnam's e-commerce and digital technology community. Beyond providing a comprehensive overview of global e-commerce trends, the event also creates a practical networking space for international organizations and Vietnamese businesses to promote products, expand export markets, collaborate on investments, and enhance competitiveness.

In particular, the participation of major players such as Amazon Global Selling, Shopee, Tiktok Shop, ViettelPost, Vietnam Post, JD Logistics, Fado, Sendo Farm, Taureau AI (France)… along with many international partners will help domestic businesses access the most advanced solutions to optimize supply chains, logistics operations, and marketing strategies in the e-commerce sector in general.

Within the framework of the Forum, on September 5th, 2025, at The Adora Premium Convention Center (next to the SECC Center), morning and afternoon seminars will take place. The morning session will be the E-commerce Conference “Diversifying Export Markets and Applying Digital Technology for Vietnamese Businesses,” where experts and representatives from leading platforms will share content on exporting through e-commerce to markets such as the United States, ASEAN, China, and Europe, as well as solutions for applying AI, digital technology, and data to improve export efficiency, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The afternoon session featured the conference "Overview Forum on E-commerce and Cross-Border E-commerce – A Direction for Vietnamese Export Businesses," focusing on updating current trends in e-commerce development in the domestic and cross-border markets, introducing modern logistics models, technology solutions supporting supply chain management, and lessons learned from domestic and international experts and businesses.

According to Mr. Bui Huy Hoang, Deputy Director of the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (eComDX) - Department of E-commerce & Digital Technology (Ministry of Industry and Trade), at this Forum, the content of cooperation in building and organizing training programs and connecting Vietnamese businesses in e-commerce abroad such as China, Singapore, South Korea, the United States… along with the Alliance for Cross-Border E-commerce (ACBC) and major international partners will also be discussed, serving as a foundation to support Vietnamese export businesses in improving their self-operation capacity in cross-border e-commerce in the next phase.

The Vietnamese e-commerce market is currently experiencing impressive growth, reaching a size of US$25 billion in 2024, a 20% increase year-on-year, placing it among the top 3 in Southeast Asia. This year's event is expected to not only provide strategic insights into e-commerce market trends but also act as a catalyst, helping Vietnamese businesses become more proactive in brand building, improving management capabilities, and breaking through in the global e-commerce arena.

With its scale and rich content, this year's event promises to be a great opportunity for domestic and international businesses to collaborate and work together to build a sustainable, modern e-commerce ecosystem that is deeply integrated with the global supply chain.
